Offered for sale is a first thinning on a 31 year old, 14.04 acre pine plantation. Every 3rd row will be harvested with the remaining 2 rows thinned from below to a target basal area of 70, leaving residual dominate trees on an approximate 24 foot spacing. All hardwood fiber located within the sale area is to be harvested. Viewing this timber requires access through electrified livestock fences and buyers are requested to provide advance notice and leave all gates as found. Interested buyers should submit unit prices and a tentative start date. Rawlings Consulting Forestry reserves the right to reject any and all offers and may require on-site inspections of previously thinned stands.
