Offered for sale is a first thinning on a 123.3 acre pine plantation. Portions of this plantation were unsuccessful resulting in an abundance of low grade hardwood. Every 5th row will be harvested with the remaining 4 rows thinned from below to a basal area of 75. All hardwood located within the sale area is to be harvested and whole tree chipped. Viewing this timber requires access through two locked gates. Buyers are requested to provide a one day notice to ensure gates are unlocked. Interest buyers should submit unit prices and a tentative start date. Rawlings Consulting Forestry reserves the right to reject any and all offers and may require on-site inspections of previously thinned stands.
