Offered for sale by the consulting forester is a first thinning on 36.575 acres of loblolly pine plantation. The timber sale area consists of eight individual stands, varying in both age and spacing. The timber to be removed will vary by stand and may include 3rd, 4th and 5th row thinning with a targeted residual stem count between 175 and 250 dominate trees per acre, dependent on age and spacing. All hardwood fiber within the sale area is to be harvested. Interested buyers should submit unit prices and a tentative start date. Rawlings Consulting Forestry reserves the right to reject any and all offers and may require on-site inspections of previously thinned stands.
